Welcome to the new San Ramon Farmers’ Market! After four years being located at the Historic Forest Home Farms, in May 2011 we moved the market to more central location at Bishop Ranch! The San Ramon Farmers’ Market is certified by the Contra Costa County Agricultural Commissioner as a direct marketing outlet to sell certifiied agricultural products and non-certifiable agricultural products. The market is managed and operated by Local Roots, a non-profit located in San Ramon. The mission of the San Ramon Farmers Market is to provide:
-
Small farmers with a direct outlet where they can sell the fruits, vegetables, eggs, honey, flowers, etc. that they themselves produce.
- Consumers with an opportunity to buy fresh quality products at reasonable prices directly from producers.
- The community with a festive gathering place to celebrate local food and farms and support local sustainable agriculture.
- Consumers with access to nutrition education and healthy food choices to improve the quality of their lives.
- A higher quality of life for San Ramon residents and neighboring communities

hi
rolling oaks ranch from ione,ca has the best pasture raised eggs . However at this time, production is really low due to molting season. Most hens are raised indoors under 24hr lighting so production is year-round. With eggs from pastured hens, nature is in control.
